Logan loves to play on the computer. He is very good at figuring out games on the Disney Junior website.

Kayley had to get her ears flushed at the doctor and got her clothes all wet. They gave her this gown to wear home. She wore it most of the morning!

We went to the Imagination Movers Concert. We bought the tickets back in November as a gift from the new baby. Mommy made Logan and Kayley their own Imagination Mover T-shirts.

Logan had a lot of fun in sports this year. On the last day, Daddy was able to come watch for a few minutes. Logan loved playing tug-of-war!

Daddy was able to come to Kayley's last gymnastics class too.

That afternoon was Logan's last soccer lesson. Daddy came to watch that also. Logan loved running and playing soccer.

In the evening Logan and Kayley had an awards ceremony for Awana. Both were so excited to get a bag of goodies along with a certificate. Kayley yelled from the front of the church, "Mommy! I got a bag!"

The kids had Sibling Classes at the hospital. They learned how to help feed, diaper, and swaddle a baby among other things! Daddy went with Kayley.

Right after the classes, we headed to the Awana carnival. We ate lunch and then waited for the races to begin. Here is Daddy, Logan, and Kayley checking out the cars. Kayley's car won 2 heats. Logan was so excited Kayley won one heat, even though her car beat his. It was super sweet of him.

Putting together the toddler bed for Kayley. It sits at the end of Logan's big bed so they are still close to each other, but they sleep better since they are not rolling into each other all night!

Logan's last day of school. Grandma and Grandpa got in the night before so they could come see his program at school and celebrate with us.

Strawberry Festival

Logan and Kayley were so excited to go to the Strawberry Festival this year. The first thing we did was the Duck Race. We think Pop should build something like this for all the grandkids to play with :0)

Logan had Dad's Night at preschool. So, Mommy and Kayley had a Mom's night. Kayley dressed up as a princess. We ate popcorn and watched a princess show.

We went to the Kite Festival this year. There were a ton of kites in the air. Kayley decided she liked the petting zoo area the best, more than flying her kite.

Mommy couldn't get Kayley to leave so when Daddy got back, he had to go get her. Later, Mommy found lots of cotton in Kayley's coat pocket---she had been picking it and stuffing it in her coat!

After Daddy got off work, the day of Logan's costume parade, we headed to Knoxville for a few days because Uncle Christopher was home for a visit from London. We got in pretty late that night. The next day we had fun seeing everyone. In the evening, we went to a Trunk-or-Treat at a church Grandma and Grandpa go to sometimes.

Big Bouncy thing-Logan would climb up the ladder right behind Kayley to make sure she didn't fall and then Kayley would go down on her tummy, feet first, and her dress would fly up showing her tights and underwear. So cute!

Logan had a Halloween Costume Parade at school. Logan went as Lightning McQueen's driver. He thought he should be first in line because Lightning is always first. Mommy told him the person who is line leader for the day will probably be in front. When Mommy walked him down to class with some party supplies, he told his teacher the same thing. At the parade, Logan just happened to be the line leader :0)

Virginia Beach

Aunt Lola and One Time Blind had a show in Virginia Beach the first weekend of October. Virginia Beach is 2 hours from us so we went there for Saturday and Sunday. So much fun! Logan and Kayley liked sitting at the window and looking at the ocean.

We went down to the beach in the afternoon. Logan and Kayley played in the sand and a little bit in the water.

Logan's field trip

Logan's class went on a field trip the end of September to Rockwood Nature Center. Mommy was able to go with Logan and his friend Hayden while Hayden's mommy watched Kayley! She took Kayley and Davis to the mall play center. Everyone had a lot of fun. First they sat and learned some things about fall and nature. Logan was very outgoing--raising his hand and answering questions, telling stories....it was cute.

One of the "stories" he told was about acorns. He told the lady that he and Daddy picked a lot in the back yard and he and Kayley play with them. They put them in the sandbox and the bucket but it rained one day and they had to dump the bucket out b/c it was full of water. Now they are all over the deck.

Afterwards, the class had a snack at the playground and then played for a little while!

One weekend in September, Grandma came to see us and we all went to Yorktown Beach about 1 hour away from us. Logan and Kayley were super excited!

We took a walk down the beach and sat on the pier where there were a lot of people fishing!

When we were done at the beach, we took the free trolley ride. The kids loved it! They thought it was like riding on Trolley from Mr. Rogers!

Week of Firsts

While Grandma was here, Logan had his first day of school. He had such a great day--so much fun, loves his teachers, and loves having his friends Owen, Addisyn, and Hayden in his class.

When we got home, Grandma started working with Kayley on potty training. She has kind of been training herself but Grandma helped her really get it down! Logan showed her the little potty she was going to be using before we took him to school.

After a week of working with Grandma, Kayley was pretty much trained! She has an accident occasionally, but she is doing great. We still put her in pull-ups when we go out just in case since she is so young! Thanks Grandma for your patience, attention, and mini-m&ms!

Trip to Sesame Place Post #2

The 2nd day!

Mommy, Daddy, Eden, Ethan, Elijah, Pop, and Uncle Ryan rode the roller coaster. Mommy wasn't too sure about riding it, but Eden said she would hold Mommy's hand and ride in the same car. Mommy did not like it at all--she tried not to squeeze Eden's hand too hard!

Mommy and Aunt Lola took Elijah and Kayley on the carousel while all the others went on other rides.

Ernie took Ethan's hat and put it on his nose. The kids all laughed so much!

After the parade, we went to a store while Uncle Ryan and Daddy stayed with Evan and Kayley who both were taking naps in the strollers. Cookie Monster came right by the bench where we were so the kids quickly got in line to get their picture taken with him!

Then we saw a line forming across the street to see Ernie and Bert so we quickly ran to get in that line. Ethan had picked out an Ernie doll and Logan a Bert doll so they liked getting their picture taken with the big Bert and Ernie! Bert took Logan's hat and put it on his nose which they thought was very funny!

After all the picture taking, Kayley was still asleep! Daddy had told her if she took a nap he would take her on some more things so she grabbed her blanket, closed her eyes, and went right to sleep!

The last thing the kids did before we left the park---Ernie's Bed Bounce. So much fun. Logan, Ethan, Kayley, and Elijah went in together...Eden went in with the older kids on their turn.

After popcorn, a drink, and seeing the beginning of the parade again, we headed back to the hotel. The kids all played with their Sesame Street dolls. So cute!

The next morning, after breakfast, the kids stood in line for the painting and balloon people. Logan and Ethan both got Abby Cadabby on their arms...when we told the man painting them that the boys were doing that, he said it was because Abby Cadabby's cute.

We packed up the car and headed out when we were ready. We had so much fun at Sesame Place and are so glad we got to go with cousins and family!

Trip to Sesame Place Post #1

The Wednesday after Logan's birthday, we left for Sesame Place in Pennsylvania. We left mid-morning and got to the hotel late afternoon. Elijah and Kayley helped Daddy push the cart inside.

After lugging all of our stuff to our rooms on the 2nd floor (there wasn't an elevator!), Logan and Elijah decided to cool off.

We had an adjoining room with Aunt Lola, and Nana/Pop were right down the hall. We ordered pizza for dinner, and while we waited for it to be delivered, we went out to the playground.

After playing and eating, it was time to get ready for bed. It was also time for Pop and Aunt Lola to go pick up Uncle Ryan from the Philadelphia airport. In the morning, we all went downstairs to eat breakfast.

After breakfast, in the lobby, there was face painting and a balloon artist. The kids did that, we got ready, and we were off to Sesame Place! This is one of the displays we saw in the parking lot when we got there.

We parked and had lunch in the back of the Pilot.

We did the water rides this day because it was supposed to be cooler the next. Kayley didn't care too much for the water stuff but Logan did the water slides on Count's Castle. He liked them until he went too fast on one and tipped over/got water all over his head. He was a brave boy and tried it again after Daddy told him how to sit to go slower on it. We were so proud of him!

We went on Big Bird's Rambling River. Kayley and Evan got very sleepy and fell asleep when we got back to the strollers.

Next, they all went on the Sky Splash which held several people in an inner tube. Logan did not like that at all. Afterwards, the kids tried to figure out where they wanted to go next.

After a few more water rides, some of which Logan did not like at all, we waited to go see the Elmo's World show. Kayley entertained us while we waited.

What a fun day! We went home and after we got dinner, the kids found extra energy they had stored up somewhere and played for a bit. We put all the kids to bed in Aunt Lola's room so the big people could still hang out! We couldn't wait to see what fun we would have the next day!

Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle T went back home Sunday morning. The rest of the crew stayed for the week. We spent Sunday-Wednesday morning here and then left to go to Sesame Place in Pennsylvania.

Sunday was Puppy Brown Ears Ragland's birthday. He wanted a Little Einsteins birthday also. We all sat in the playroom and wore party hats. We sang him Happy Birthday and then Logan opened presents for him that he bought Puppy with his own money!

Evan spent time in the pack n play each day since he is so active! Kayley would visit him:)

Logan's Family Birthday Party

Friday night, Nana, Pop, Aunt Lola, Eden, Ethan, Elijah, and Evan got in. Logan and Kayley were so excited and had a hard time settling down and going to bed!

Saturday morning, Logan woke up to birthday decorations. He got a Rocket toy with the Little Einsteins in it. A lady at Daddy's work gave it to him because her kids don't use it anymore. Logan and Kayley LOVE it.

Then we went to Party City to get balloons. Logan picked out 4 balloons for himself: Thomas, CARS, Toy Story, and My Little Pony. He got a balloons with a "4" on it for Kayley and all his cousins.

Logan's Birthday Party for Friends

On Friday, August 20th, we had a friend birthday party for Logan at the park. It was a Little Einsteins themed party. To get ready for the party, Logan helped make the goody bags.

We made cupcakes--chocolate cupcakes with red frosting because Rocket on Little Einsteins is red.

Friday morning, we got to the park and decorated. Daddy took the day off and Grandma and Uncle T came with us.

When all Logan's friends were there, we played on the playground.

Game time: Grandma ran the games for Mommy so she could take pictures and enjoy the party more! First was "Put the treasure box on the X" game

Present time! Again, Grandma helped out so Mommy could watch Logan and take pictures. He got so many fun presents. Thanks everyone!

Last was feeding the ducks. We did not play the game that Logan wanted to play--"See who can feed the ducks the fastest!"

Roller Skating

We went roller skating a few weeks ago. It was so fun. Our friend Ms. Heather invited us to go with her and her boys. The local skating rink has a Tiny Tots Skating time every Thursday.

Logan and Kayley did great. They didn't need much help from Mommy. Logan had skates where the wheels were tightened and Kayley had Fisher Price skates.

There was a free skate time for a while when we got there. Then there was a short lesson which included playing Red Light, Green Light.

They also did the Hokey Pokey, the Limbo, and a few more fun things before having a snack and drink

So much fun; we will definitely being doing this again!!

As hard as it was for Mommy to be without Logan, it was nice to spend some quality time with Kayley. One day, Mommy and Daddy took Kayley shopping with them and then to KFC to get some dinner.

Kayley didn't cry at all when we left Logan. She would just say "Grandpa's house" whenever we mentioned his name! It was weird not having Logan home to help entertain Kayley so the days seemed to go slower at times. But it was a good week spending time with just Kayley.

Logan's Trip to Knoxville

We took Grandma part way back to Knoxville on Saturday, July 24th where we met Grandpa and Uncle T at Shoneys. Logan went back with Grandma and Grandpa for the week. This was a hard decision for Mommy, but she decided it was time to let Logan go since he had started to ask when he could go to Grandma and Grandpas/Nana and Pop's by himself. When they got back into town, they went to Uncle T's apartment. They took Logan to see the apartment Mommy, Daddy, and he lived in when he was first born.

After Kayley's birthday, Grandma stayed with us for a week. We went to Cracker Barrel after church for lunch.

Big Girl Bed

Sunday, July 18th, Mommy and Daddy decided that they would try Kayley in a big girl bed. So, Daddy (using Logan's Toy Story head light!) took the front rail off her crib and put on the toddler rail. Kayley wasn't happy about this at first--she screamed and cried until she realized she would have a big bed like Logan.

She ended up liking her new bed--she loved climbing in and out by herself

Kayley did great with the transition to a big bed. She would get in and out while Mommy and Daddy were in the room, but when they would leave, she would stay in bed! It has now been 4 weeks in the bed and she hasn't gotten out one time during her nap or in the night!

Thursday, July 15th, Nana and Pop got to town. We went out to eat with them. Late that night, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle T got in town. Logan and Kayley had a lot of fun with all the extra family here!

Kayley's 2nd Birthday

Kayley's birthday was July 14th. The day before, we made the cupcakes

Daddy took Kayley upstairs early that night and Logan helped Mommy decorate

Kayley was super excited when she woke up. She got a Minnie necklace, Minnie ears, Minnie tattoos, bouncy balls, and Tinkerbell magnets

Daddy took the day off of work! Everyone took Logan to summer camp. Kayley wanted a doughnut from Wal-mart so we went to get her one.

Then we went to Party City where Kayley picked out Minnie Mouse and Tinkerbell balloons

We went to Quiznos and brought it home. Kayley took one bite of her sandwich and then decided to eat the chips only for lunch!

After Kayley's nap, we decided to take her to Chuck E. Cheese! Before we went in, Logan told Kayley and Daddy that he and Mommy had been there before so he'd tell them the rules...get coins, play games, get tickets, get prizes!

Sunday, June 27th, was the Moeggenborg Reunion at the park in Shepherd. Kayley wasn't feeling great and decided to sleep instead of eat.

After the games, it was time for a wagon ride.

Mommy got lunch ready while the kids rode. We had hot dogs, popcorn, fruit, and lemonade.

Everyone took turns saying a prayer if they wanted to.

They each brought 3 of their tickets up to the tent to "buy" their lunch.

Afterwards, the kids were able to get more face painting and tattoos if they wanted to.

Then it was nap time for Kayley and Evan. While they napped, the others ate popcorn and watched TV
