Logan's Birthday Weekend Part 1

Friday, the 21st, was Logan's 3rd birthday. In the morning, he had a birthday party play date at the park with his friends. We made cupcakes and Logan added the sprinkles...a lot of sprinkles!
The kids played on the playground and then had cupcakes. Here are Owen, Logan, and Ethan eating cupcakes

Playing "stick the bow tie on Pablo." When it was Logan's turn, he closed his eyes, put the bow tie out, peeked, and matched it up perfectly with the bow tie spot.
After opening presents, we went down to feed the ducks.
Meanwhile, back at home, Kayley hung out with Nana, Pop, Grandma, and Grandpa
We went out to eat for dinner. Logan wanted to eat at Red Robin. Grandma thought he could pass for the Statue of Liberty.

He tried tea for the first and actually liked it.

The waiters/waitresses came to sing Logan "Happy Birthday." At first he wasn't sure about it but then thought it was really funny.
Then it was playtime at the mall play place

Kayley's Eye Procedure

This morning, Mommy and Daddy took Kayley to get a temporary tube in her right tear duct. We had to be there at 6:30 so that meant getting her up at 6 AM! She got to wear a little gown. She thought it was funny that the arms were so big on her.

The nurse gave Kayley a pink snail beanie baby.
They marked her face with marker and a sticker on her right side.
The procedure (including anesthesia) lasted only 15 minutes. Mommy and Daddy walked her down to the surgery room. The nurse brought her back when she woke up. She was a groggy and had a bloody nose most of the day. She was fussy and tired all day too. Poor Kayley!
The tube is not visible and the doctor will take it out in 2-3 months.

Eye Doctor

Logan went to the eye doctor this past Monday for the very first time.
He had to have his eyes dilated so they sent him home with a sucker and a pair of sunglasses.
He has healthy, normal eyes so his next visit is in kindergarten!
