My First Christmas

It was my first Christmas and all through the house,
Ethan was crawling like a rabid little mouse
Nana was up wrapping gifts by the dozen
While Eden was having fun with her cousin

The plane flight was long
But I did not cry
Maybe next time
The peanuts I’ll try

We played basketball but Mom couldn’t dunk But it didn’t matter cause Aunt Lola stunk

We opened up gifts and I got some good things
Although I was disappointed to not get some bling

It was a good time and I can’t wait for next year
Cause I will be walking and can start to drink beer

(This is one gene pool that could use some chlorine)

Logan,

I am glad to see that you have found a new hobby of writing poetry...and am also happy that some of it makes sense.....it was a wonderful time that was had by all and I can hardly wait to see you again and teach you new tricks to play on your mom and dad... there are lots of things that you can do and I will enlist the help of grandpa Ragland to make sure that your dad will be terrorized for the next 20 or so years of his life by you.....and when you get some brothers or sisters...we will learn them a few things also......remember to mess your pants really bad when dad has to change you and do neat ones when it's mom's turn......

Lots of love...and grow big and strong so we can go fishing.....

Wonderful rendition of a classic, El Bambino! Maybe I'll get to see you around Christmas time next year. And like Mr. Deeds said "I'll bring the beer...I'll bring the beer."
