Christmas

Here is the tree we put up this year.  I like the more natural look, so I pulled off everything I could reach.

Mommy, Daddy, and I had our Christmas early since we went to Knoxville for a week over Christmas. I had fun opening presents!

Daddy, Mommy, and Uncle Timothy went to the Tennessee Titans football game while we were in Tennessee.  I almost blocked a kick.

I helped Grandma make stuffed mushrooms.   They were the special mushrooms that she sells to hippies.

I performed show tunes just like my Uncle Christopher, except I look cute doing it.

Here we are having Christmas lunch.  Daddy tasted surprisingly good.

I really liked opening presents!

Uncle Timothy got me a laptop and helped me setup my Facebook account.

Thankgiving

We went to Michigan for a week at Thanksgiving. Ethan and I provided some after dinner entertainment.

Pop's leaf blower was really strong.

Maybe someday Shepherd will get some paved roads, but until then this is how we traveled everywhere.

Who knew dead bird could taste so good?

We had Christmas the day after Thanksgiving.  We all decorated gingerbread cookies. I preferred to eat mine rather than decorate it.

I kept Daddy up every night so he tried to regift me for Christmas.

Here I am trying to pretend to be excited about  a movie I already have.

All for one and milk for all.

It was a long 13 hour drive up so I tried to suggest an easier way home.

Can you tell somebody's mom/aunt was a preschool teacher?

Family Picture.  I think we are the first to ever take one in front of a fireplace.

September and October

Mommy finally unpacked her hospital bag and look what she found...my twin brother.
Here I am with my cousins.

We went to visit Mommy's relatives at their farm.

We made applebutter. I liked the apples.

We helped stir the applebutter.

On your mark, get set.....MOW.

Daddy said I only won cause I cheated so we switched and raced again...I'm still winning.

We placed second in the four legged mow.

I got to try my first Krispy Kreme. It was so yummy! No wonder Mommy eats them all the time.
Daddy was snoring when he went to sleep so I found a way to keep him quiet.

I've been working out around the house. Only 364 more days till hockey tryouts.

Mommy grabbed the giraffe's tongue and wouldn't let go till it promised to give me a ride.

Look who is showing off their feathers. There is also a peacock.

I learned how to make salmonella from Grandma.

Mommy got tired of changing my diapers so I got a litter box.

We went to a pumpkin patch and this is the pumpkin I picked out.

Mommy let me help carve the pumpkin. It was neat.

Why do people keep telling me I look like Nana?

Labor Day

We had fun on Labor Day. I put dish soap in my bottle and kept coughing up bubbles. Mommy didn't notice as she was too busy putting on lipstick.
Daddy wanted to show me what life is like on the other side of the planet.
I noticed Dad had missed a couple spots so I thought I would touch up the yard.

Mommy spent all our money on makeup so I have to get food wherever I can find it.

My Birthday Party

Last week I turned one and all my grandparents came to town. Mommy was afraid no one would know it was my first birthday so she put up a couple of subtle reminders.

Before the party, while I was taking a nap, Nana, Grandma, and Daddy's cousin Stephanie all played the Nintendo Wii.

I was happy to see everyone and all the presents. Excellent.

To make sure I keep all my college football options open, I got UT, Texas Tech, and Central Michigan outfits. Go Red Chipeteers.

Here I am with Mommy and Daddy with the cakes that Mommy made.

I really enjoyed my cake.

Having 4 grandparents in the house drove me to start smoking. I was able to quit once they left.

Daddy said I was too spoiled and had to sleep outside. He did help me put up my tent though.

It's my 1st birthday!

Today was my birthday. Daddy came home early from work. I got to open a couple of presents--I have to wait until Saturday at my party to get the rest!

I got a Tennessee shirt.

I volunteered to put it on my head :)

Here is my first birthday cake. Mommy and Daddy helped me blow out the candle.

Unfortunately my pet smurf fell into the mixer.

I made such a mess that Daddy had to carry me upstairs to take a bath!

Luckily I have a the perfect suit for today!
